Interlibrary Loan Fees & Payment

Fee Guidelines

• The Health Sciences Library Interlibrary Loan Department has a high success rate at filling interlibrary loan requests at no cost.
• The current $11.00 base price, as set by the National Library of Medicine, will apply if a request can only be filled by a lending library that charges and the library user chooses to pay the base price.
• Lending libraries may have fees higher than the current base price.
• Additional fees may apply for additional services such as RUSH requests and for articles that exceed a lending library's copy limit.

Payment

• Interlibrary loan requests may be paid for by cash, check or departmental account. 
• Library users may establish a departmental account in their ILLiad user profile.
• Library users who do not pay cash and do not have a departmental account will be invoiced weekly.
• Please pay cash in person. Do not mail cash. Bring invoice when paying in cash.
