The Center for Healthcare Informatics Education coordinates HSL workshops and classes. The center's mission is to pursue excellence in the provision and promotion of information services to support learning, research, and teaching for the Health Sciences Center and the School of Medicine.
The center strives to enable, guide and mentor faculty, staff and students in the University community in developing lifelong skills in critical thinking and information literacy. Librarians use their subject expertise and their knowledge of the ever-changing information environment to develop the collections and to provide services that meet the needs of the diverse University community.
